Mailchimp is an all-in-one email marketing platform designed to deliver advanced features to small businesses including audience segmentation and complex automated workflows which makes it a terrific tool for staying in touch with your affiliates.

Rewardful lets you integrate with Mailchimp by letting you add new members to your mailing list when new affiliates register for your campaigns with just a few minutes work. Start by clicking the "Integrations" link in the dropdown menu of your Rewardful dashboard, or you can just go directly to https://app.getrewardful.com/integrations.

You should see a list of all currently available integrations including one for Mailchimp. Find it, and click the "Connect" button to start filling in your information.

You'll need to enter your Mailchimp API key and a default audience ID to allow Rewardful to synchronize affiliates.

Your Mailchimp API key is available from the API Keys page of your Mailchimp dashboard. Rewardful provides a link directly to that page directly below the text field. If you don't already have an API key, you can generate a new one by clicking Create A Key.

Mailchimp members must be assigned to a specific list, so you'll also need to select an audience that should be used as the target for new affiliates and enter its identifier in the Rewardful form. The Mailchimp dashboard provides you with a list of your Audiences from which you can either select an existing list or create a new one. In either case, you'll need to find the ID associated with it by selecting the downward arrow menu toggle at the far right of the screen and selecting Settings as shown below.

Scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Audience Settings page, you'll see the audience ID in a text field which you can copy and paste into the form field in Rewardful.

Rewardful lets you optionally set up campaign-specific and default audience IDs that will be applied to new subscribers depending on which campaign the affiliate registers for. The details of how this works are covered in our Campaign Syncing article.

After you submit the form, you should see new affiliate sign ups mirrored in your Mailchimp audience where you can use Now, whenever a new affiliate signs up, Rewardful will also subscribe them to your mailing list where you can use Mailchimp's Automations and Campaigns to engage with them.

As new affiliates sign up for your program, you should see them replicated as members on your Mailchimp list with the first and last name and email address they registered with as well as any tag you specified for the campaign they registered with. Rewardful also adds three additional fields to each subscriber it creates that can help you answer any questions your partners might ask concerning which link to use to access the Rewardful portal and how and where to direct new customers to your site. These will be displayed in the Profile Information section of the subscriber detail screen as shown below.
