ActiveCampaign is an all-in-one platform that combines email campaigns, marketing automation, and CRM tools in a package that's ideal for small businesses, and it happens to be a perfect tool for staying in touch with your affiliates and giving them the information they need to help successfully bring you more business.

Rewardful lets you integrate with ActiveCampaign by letting you add new contacts to your account whenever when a new affiliate registers for one of your campaigns, and all it takes is a few minutes work. You can begin by clicking the "Integrations" link in the dropdown menu of your Rewardful dashboard, or you can just go directly to https://app.getrewardful.com/integrations.

You should see a list of all currently available integrations including one for ActiveCampaign. Find it, and click the "Connect" button to start filling in your information.

You'll need to enter your ActiveCampaign API URL and key to allow Rewardful to start creating new contacts.

These can be found in your ActiveCampaign dashboard in Settings under the Developer subheading.

In addition to these, you may also optionally specify ActiveCampaign tags that will be applied depending on the affiliate's campaign. Rewardful lets you enter different tags for each of your current campaigns as well as a default tag to be applied when no campaign-specific tag is defined.

You can find a list of your current tags under Contacts under the Manage Tags subheading of your ActiveCampaign dashboard. You must select from your list of existing tags for each field you fill in or add new tags to meet your needs.

The details of how to set up your tags and how Rewardful uses them are covered in our Campaign Syncing article, so check that out if you have questions.

As new affiliates sign up for your program, you should see them replicated as contacts in your ActiveCampaign account with the first and last name and email address they registered with as well as any tags you specified.

Rewardful also adds three additional custom fields to each subscriber it creates that can help you answer any questions your partners might ask concerning which link to use to access the Rewardful portal and how and where to direct new customers to your site. These are created automatically by Rewardful as soon as you finish connecting to your ActiveCampaign account, and you can see them by opening the Manage Fields option under the Forms section in your ActiveCampaign dashboard.

Making sure that the Contacts tab is selected as shown below, you can ask ActiveCampaign to display these field for each of your contacts by clicking on the edit (pencil) icon that's displayed when you mouse over the first row in the table.

ActiveCampaign will display a popover dialog allowing you to customize options for the field. Under Advanced Options, you'll want to make your custom field available in All Lists (or whichever list you're using for your affiliates) by ticking the checkbox as shown.

If you do this for all three custom fields, then you should see Rewardful-specific information displayed with each new affiliate contact.

Feel free to drop us a line at hello@getrewardful.com or hit us up in a chat session if you run into any problems getting set up. We're happy to help get you unstuck. πŸ™‚
